Hawkeye Basketball

Iowa has gotten off to a slow start this year after last year's 25-10 campaign, which included a Big Ten Tournament Championship. However, last Friday's win over interstate rival ISU (How bad do we hate the Cyclops) was certainly a step in the right direction for this young club. Freshman Tyler Smith continues to impress, and the addition of a healthy Mike Henderson will really help solidify the starters and I think help us play better defense. Looking for a big win over Drake this Saturday (the16th), although it will be a tough environment at the Knapp Center facing our former Coach, the good Doctor Tom. Go Hawks!
